This book is about using a unique mindfulness-based approach to supervision that is both framework and practice driven.

In writing this book we intend to inspire and share our passion for what is possible within mindfulness-based supervision (MBS), enhancing the art and craft of it, and bringing alive the content and process.

The readers we have in mind are supervisors, potential supervisors, mentors and leaders, who are mindfulness practitioners with an established mindfulness practise, have experience teaching or conveying mindfulness in their work and would like to support others through mindfulness-based supervision.

The MBS approach can be applied in a range of ways, within different contexts and settings, to supervisees with different developmental needs and using a variety of teaching approaches.

The book also looks at how mindfulness-based practitioners can apply this approach in other areas of their work, including supervision in psychotherapy and education.
